Binomial Name: Pleoticus muelleri
You probably haven’t tasted shrimp as rich as Argentina’s Red Shrimp. Relatively large and (of course) red, these shrimp are sweeter than regular shrimp, with a flavor and texture comparable to lobster. They are an excellent source of lean protein, are low in fat, and hold flavor well in cooking. We sell them raw, peeled and deveined, tail-on with a 16 to 20 count per lb.
